Located at 29 Bush Road, behind this residence on the hill.
It's location is near the intersection of Bush, Shindagan & Prospect Valley Road .
Cemetery entrance at one time was off Shindagan Road, near the intersection of Bush Road,
on the left hand side of road on the hill.

This cemetery is inactive and is as complete as possible.
Seems to be a large cemetery, with many headstones broken and crumbled away.
Large trees have fallen in cemetery, very poor condition, and hard to find all markers.

MacIntire Mrs. Betsy, wife of Samuel MacIntire died July April 19, 1828 aged 53 yr's 3 m's Inscriptions has both months - July and April, this is not an error. [Note: Thanks to Art Parker, a 5th great grandson of Betsy we know know she was Elizabeth Jones, born in Weare, New Hampshire, on Jan. 27, 1775, daughter of Ephraim & Sarah (Greene) Jones. She married Samuel at Washington, Vermont on April 23, 1795, and died April 19, 1828.

Whitley Lydia, wife of John Whitley died August 2, 1847 aged 77 yr's 3 m's 17 dy's

Whitley Mr. John Whitley died June 5, 1827 aged 70 yr's

Krauss Infant, died 1964 infant child of Henry & Beverly (Benjamin) Krauss. 1964 is a correct date - no headstone, just for small stones to mark the location of this infant's grave.

Gilman Mary, wife of John T. Gilman died May 18, 1867 aged 71 yr's 3 m's

Here lies the body of my wife.
The mother of my children dear.
Her soul now dwells in endless life.
Beyond the reach of sin or fear.

Pierce Joshua Pierce died Sept. 19, 1849 age 81 yr's Joshua Pierce is listed in the Town of Caroline deaths in the 1850 census records - Joshua Pierce died Sept. 1849 age 84 yrs. Headstone clearly appears to be 81 yrs.

Death date looks like 1863. 1850 census for Candor, Tioga Co., NY, listed as Olive age 7. In 1860 census for Candor, Tioga Co., NY, she is listed as Oliva age 16 yrs. Abigail her mother was Abigail Pierce.

Rice Jane wife of Sherman Rice Bottom half of headstone is missing. No dates could be found.
