 Conrad B. Teeter 1770-1840 son of Henry & Elizabeth (Beidelman) Teeter of Springfield Township, Bucks Co., PA.  Henry Teeter 1743-1804 father to Conrad was a Revolutionary War Soldier, Henry and his wife Elizabeth 1749-1804 are buried in Asbury Cemetery, Lansing, NY.  Conrad Teeter married 1791 to Christina Keller, daughter of Christopher & Christina (Bossert) Keller,  she died April 17, 1852 age 80 yrs old.  Conrad Teeter died July 18, 1840 age 71 yrs.  They are both buried in the Teeter Cemetery, Ithaca, NY.  This cemetery was on the Isaac Teeter Farm property.

2. Andrew Teeter born Nov. 13, 1795 in Pa., died Jan. 18, 1887
3. Jacob Teeter born July 31, 1800 married Elizabeth Unknown.
4. Rachel Teeter born July 11, 1802 died Feb. 26, 1893 in Ithaca, NY.  She married Reuben Whitlock May 8, 1799 in NJ, died March 4, 1862, Reuben was the son of John & Mary (Morse) Whitlock.  1850 Census has his birth place as New Jersey, he is listed as a farmer in 1850, living in Ithaca, NY.  Reuben & Rachel are buried in Ithaca City Cemetery, Ithaca, Tompkins Co., NY.

1. Mary Ann Whitlock born Jan. 30, 1821 died July 2,  1900
2. Katherine Ann Whitlock born Oct. 20, 1822 died May 30, 1913 Married Edward Clinton b. May 12, 1822 d. Dec. 21, 1903 - both are buried in Ithaca City Cemetery.
3. Lucy Ann Whitlock born Oct. 9, 1826 died 1920 - married 1886 Miles McCutchen - Lucy is buried in Ithaca City Cemetery, Ithaca, NY.
4. Julia Ann Whitlock born 1819 died 1896, married Alfred Dale born 1829 died July 18, 1910 - buried in Ithaca City Cemetery
5. Conrad T. Whitlock born 1831 died Feb. 15, 1892 - married Elizabeth A. Baldwin who died 1928 aged 94 yrs. - buried Ithaca City cemetery.   From Landmarks of Tompkins Co., NY - MARSHALL, E. H., was born in November 14, 1859, in the town of Enfield, and was educated in the town of Angelica in the district schools, finishing by a course under Professor L. C. FOSTER at the Ithaca High School. March 18, 1886, he married Rose, daughter of Conrad WHITLOCK, by whom he has two sons. In 1886 he bought the WILLIS farm of sixty-three acres on which he raises grain and hay, making a specialty of tobacco. He takes the Republican side in politics and is actively interested in educational matters, being now trustee of the school in district No. 3. Mr. MARSHALL is known in his neighborhood as an active, energetic business man of ability.

7. Lorenzo R. Whitlock born March 2, 1839 died March 15, 1917 married Susan (____).  Lorenzo R. Whitlock is buried in Ithaca City Cemetery, Ithaca, NY.
5. Isaac Teeter, born Oct. 1, 1804 died Jan. 26th 1892, son of Conrad & Christina Keller.  (In the will of Isaac Teeter it was stated for the surrogate's court that Isaac Teeter died about the 21st day of January 1892 at the age of about 87 yrs.
Married 1st 1829 to Phebe Ann Carle,  his children were all by his first wife Phebe Ann Carl, dau. of William & Elizabeth Carl, born 1810 died May 2, 1876.   Isaac & Phebe Teeter lived in Ithaca, NY, Tompkins County, NY.  It is said by Teeter family members that Phebe went to California for some reason and she got scarlet fever and died, she was buried in Calf., place unknown.  Her children erected a tombstone in her honor in Inlet Valley Cemetery, Ithaca, NY.  Phebe Teeter "Mother" of Martha, Henry and Eugene) d. May 2, 1876 age 66 years.  Isaac Teeter married 2nd on Oct. 17, 1876 to Sarah (____) widow of Theodore Nelson of Ludlowville, NY.  Sarah was born March 12, 1830 died Dec. 1, 1903.  See below for more on Sarah 2nd wife.  It is unknown were Isaac is buried, Teeter family members have been told he was buried in one place (place unknown) then removed to another place that his children felt was more appropriate (that location is also unknown)

5. a. Andrew Jackson Teeter, son of Isaac & Phebe (Carl) Teeter, born August 30, 1830 died 1908 age 78 yrs, married 1st March 28, 1850 to Sabrina C. Hamilton b. May 29, 1829 d. January 30th 1852 aged 22 yrs., 8 mo's 3 dys.  Sabrina was the daughter of Andrew & Elizabeth Cheesman Hamiliton, from the Town of Caroline, Tompkins Co., NY, they had no children.  Andrew married 2nd Phebe VanVleet who died 1853 age 30 yrs., no children by first two marriages, married 3rd 1857 to Mary Nixon who was born 1836, died 1917 age 81 yrs. Mary was the dau. of George & Sarah Marie (Hamilton) Nixon.  Andrew,  1st wife Sabrina, 2nd wife Phebe and 3rd wife Mary are all buried on the old Teeter Farm, Ithaca, NY (located near the Enfield town line, on Gray Road).
In 1850 Andrew & Mary were living in the Town of Caroline.

5. a. 1. George I. Teeter, son of Andrew & Mary (Nixon) Teeter, born 1855/58, married Elnora J. Sullivan, born abt. 1857 died 1940, dau. of William & Susanna (Scott) Sullivan.  Elnora was from the Town of Caroline, NY.  Her family lived on Brearley Hill.

Teeter, born 1878 died 1980 married Lena Susan Brown, born 1894 died 1965, she was from Candor, Tioga Co., NY, she was the dau. of Frank James & Almina Cornelia (Burleigh) Brown.  Quote from the Ithaca High School 25 year reunion book - Teeter, Arthur Jackson, entered from I. G. S., Sept. 1894; graduated the Acad., 1899, Congress, Farming, 1899 to present , lives Ithaca, NY.  Children unknown - They had at least one dau. Catherine Teeter born 1921 who married Robert M. Kellogg, son of Arthur M. & Edna Kellogg.  Robert M. Kellogg was born Nov. 14, 1915 died Oct. 24, 2002.  Arthur J. Teeter, Lena his wife, and Robert M. Kellogg are all buried in Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, NY.

5. a. 4. Lille M. , born 1877 (Foster child only) married Walter Sheffield - She is only listed here because she has been credited as being a daughter.  She was not.  This listing is only to clear up that error.  Her last name was not Teeter, it was Lillian "Lillie" (surname may have been Watros) she came from PA.

5. c. Charlotte Teeter, born about 1833  - Per Landmarks of Tompkins Co., NY - Charlotte H. Teeter, dau. of Isaac Teeter married Elijah C. Hedges, born Feb. 11, 1838 died Nov. 1883, their children were: Mrs. John Elyea of Danby, Isaac Hedges of Kansas City, Lamont Hedges.  Buried in South Hill Cemetery, Coddington Road, Ithaca NY.  Hedges, Elijah C. died Nov. 1883 age 54 yrs., 10 mo., 11 dys.  His wife Charlotte H. Teeter 1833-1922.
Quote from Landmarks of Tompkins Co., NY - Hedges, Elijah C., deceased, was born in Caroline, February 11, 1838, and was educated in the district schools. At the age of twenty-four he married Charlotte H. TEETER, daughter of Isaac TEETER, who bore him three children: Mrs. John ELYEA, of Danby: Isaac, of Kansas City; and Lamont, who lives at home. Mr. HEDGES was a Democrat and took an active interest in educational and religious matters. He had been in failing health for some years, so he left the farm and bought a residence in the town of Ithaca, but failed to recover his health, and passed away in November, 1883. After his death Mrs. HEDGES took the management of the farm into her hands, and has achieved a merited success.
1880 was living in the Town of Ithaca Near South Hill Cemetery location.  1880 census - Elijah Hedges age 52 born NY, farmer; Charlotte his wife age 46; Ida, dau., age 24; Isaac, son age 20, teacher; Lamont, son age 6.

5. d. Sarah Ann Teeter, born July 2, 1836] (per the will of Isaac Teeter, she was Sarah VanBuskirk, she was given the sum of seventy five dollars).  I believe her first husband was John VanBuskirk, born abt. 1832.  She married Jan. 23, 1907 John P. Taber, born Sept. 15, 1837.  Inlet Valley Cemetery, Ithaca, NY, has the following burials, believe this is the correct family; John Van Buskirk, Father, born 1829 died 1908; ______? Mother born 1836 died 1914; Charles E., born 1865 died 1948; Rose Ann his wife born 1870 died 1954; Earl H., their son b. May 20, 1894 died May 20, 1901. 
5. d. 1. Charles E. VanBuskirk born about 1865.  Believe he is the one buried in Inlet Valley Cemetery, Ithaca, NY.  died 1948, married Rose Ann (______) born 1870 died 1954. 
Also buried with Charles and Rose Ann is Faustine Sarah Van
Burskirk Schaafs, born 1907 died 1994

5. e. Susan Teeter b. about 1838 (per the will of Isaac Teeter, she was Susan Cummings of Willseyville, NY, the sum of one hundred dollars).  Believe she is the Susan Cummings, wife of James.  James died Nov. 17, 1870.  They had three children: William Henry; Hattie B.; Rosa Nell, all minors at the time of his death.  William Henry Cummings married Stella Mix, they had at least at least two children, one name Pearl, and a son named Carlton "Carl" Cummings.  Rosa married Charles Edwards.  [Rosa must have married twice, she is Rosa Maxwell b. 1870 in 1892 and 1900 with a son Leo living with her mother.] (Thank you Nancy Cummings for helping update this family).  In 1910 Susan Cummings is living in Tioga Co., NY with her cousin Orpha Carl Pierce, daughter of Peter Carl above.

5. g. Martha J. Teeter, born about 1845 - Per Landmarks of Tompkins Co., NY - Martha J. Teeter, dau. of Isaac Teeter married Mott J. Robertson, born Nov. 19, 1822, he was the son of George & Mary (Smith) Robertson and was age 46 when he married.  Cemetery records for Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden, NY a Martha J. Robertson who died in Ithaca, is buried on lot 12-47 buried 1940 age 99 yrs.  Mott Robertson is also buried there, but no dates are listed for him.  They are on the same lot as George Robertson and Mary his wife.  Quote from Landmarks of Tompkins Co., NY. Robertson,  J., was born in the town of Drained, November 19, 1822. His father, George ROBERTSON, came to the town in 1798, March 12, and was the first freeholder in the town of Drained, and settled on lot No. 53, where his son now resides. He received his education in the old eight square brick school house, which was as quite a celebrated institution in its day. At the age of forty-six he married Martha J. TEETER, daughter of Isaac TEETER, of Ithaca. He takes the Republican side in politics and an intelligent interest in educational and religious matters. Our subject has 175 acres of the original ROBERTSON homestead, and in 1891 bought what was known as the James GILES farm of 220 acres, and has nearly 400 acres of some of the best farm and wood land in his town, where he is recognized as a practical and successful farmer. The family originally came from Scotland; and has always been prominently identified in the leading events of the day and in advancing the best interests of the town. Captain George ROBERTSON has a family of thirteen children, nine sons and four daughters.

5. i. Mary Teeter, born about 1847 (per the will of Isaac Teeter, she was Mary Masters of Ithaca, NY, the sum of one hundred dollars)  Believe she is the Mary who married Lewis H. Masters Jr.  1900 Ithaca Census is L. H. Masters, born Dec. 1839 age 60 married 35 yrs., wife Mary born about Feb. 1845 age 55 mother of 2 children, 2 living., child E. D. son born May 1866 age 34 single; Anna B., daughter born July 1873 age 26 single.  Buried in Inlet Valley Cemetery, Ithaca, NY is: Lewis H. Masters b. 1838 d. 1908; Mary A. his wife b. 1845 d. 1930.  Also buried with Lewis H. and Mary A. Masters are Margaret and Edgar; no last names or dates on headstone.

5. j. William "Henry" Teeter, (per the will of Isaac Teeter, he was William H. Teeter of Ithaca, NY.)  (LDS records - William Henry Teeter) born 1850 - Quote from Landmarks of Tompkins Co., NY - Teeter, William H., was born in the town of Ithaca, December 18, 1852, on the old TEETER farm, owned by his father, Isaac TEETER. He received a district school education and has made farming his occupation. Mr. TEETER owns a farm of ninety-five acres four miles south of Ithaca-a good grain farm-and makes a specialty of tobacco. He has four children, Minnie and Ernest by a former marriage. At the age of 35 years he married a daughter of James OBORN, of Wisconsin, and they have two children, Willis and Blanch.  Unsure if this William above is the correct William Henry Teeter.  Date of birth is not correct.  Inlet Valley Cemetery, Ithaca NY has the following burial Teeter, W. H. b. 1850 d. 1902.  (His first wife may have been Susan (____) born abt. 1852.

Eugene Teeter, born about 1850/1853  (LDS records gives Eugene Teeter son of Isaac & Phebe Ann Carl Teeter born about 1853 married about 1878 to Catharine Paff born about 1857.  1880 census Enfield, Eugene Teeter age 27, born NY, farmer, father born NY, mother born NY.  Wife Kate Teeter age 25, keeping house, born NY, father born NY, mother born NY.  Phebe Teeter, dau. age 4, Edith Teeter, dau. age 2.

Isaac Teeter 2nd married Mrs. Sarah Nelson (widow of Theodore Nelson) of Ludlowville, NY on Oct. 17, 1876 - Sarah and her first husband are found living in Lansing, Tompkins Co., NY 1860 - Nelson, Theodore age 40, born PA; Sarah age 31; Sarah M. age 8; Lyle age 6; Jay age 4; with Dann, Martha age 23 living in same house hold.  Sarah also had at least two other children - Ida who died Dec. 7, 1854 age 4 yrs.  Elmer Nelson born about.1861 is living with Isaac and Sarah in 1880.  Elmer is listed as a step-son to Isaac.  Theodore Nelson first husband to Sarah (maiden name unknown) Sarah's two daughters, Ida and Sarah M., plus Sarah her self are all buried on the Isaac Teeter Family Cemetery.  In 1868 Mrs. Sarah Nelson (widow of Theodore is living in Ludlowville, and listed as a dressmaker (1868-69 directory).   One of the sons of Sarah and Theodore Nelson is found buried in Inlet Valley Cemetery, Ithaca.  As follows: Lyle W. Nelson 1854-1924.  Catherine wife of Lyle Nelson 1839-1928.   For more information on Teeter burials See Teeter Cemetery records.

7. George Keeler Teeter born 1809 died 1895 married Sally Ann Grover 1813-1895, 1872 they were living in VanEtten, NY per the will of Sally's mother.
Quote: Sarah (Gray) Grover, wife of Abel Grover, died Oct. 25, 1872 probate Jan. 14, 1873, Sons: David of Enfield, Nelson of Ithaca, Samuel, Alpheus and Peter Grover all of Ithaca; Daus: Sally Ann wf of George Keller Teeter of VanEtten, NY., Caroline wf. of George Teeter (son of Andrew Teeter) of Newfield, NY; Emma J. Tompkins of Newfield, NY; Delia Marion of Ithaca.  Petitioner: Anson Grover of Newfield.
Believe this is the one found in 1850 census, living in Ithaca, NY. Teeter, George K. age 40; Sarah age 37; Henry D., age 12; George age 10; Emeline age 9; Ann Eliza age 7; Amanda age 5; Helen age 4; Jerome age 1.
8. Catherine Teeter, born abt. 1815 died April 9, 1853 age 38 yrs., 2 mo., 27 dys.  Married Charles Budd.  Catherine is buried in Teeter Cemetery next to her parents.  Ithaca, NY, located on Gray Road.
1850 Ithaca census Charles Budd is found age 36; Catherine his wife age 35; Christina Teeter living in same household age 78 born Pa; Teeter, Jane age 35.

9. Christine Teeter, born 1817 died 1861 married Peter A. Deal
10. Jane Teeter, born abt. 1815 - the only information on this dau. is 1850 she is living with her sister and her mother age 35, unless she is a dau. in law to Christine Teeter, wife of Conrad.
Also found is the record of: Ernest Teeter, son of A. J. Teeter died Feb. 17, 1911 age 30
It is unknown what family this Ernest should be listed with. This record was found in an old scrapbook from the Speedsville
area in the town of Caroline, Tompkins Co., NY.
